This is an antique etching of Merchandise Mart in Chicago as seen from the Chicago River. The Franklin-Orleans Street Bridge is seen in the background. When it was opened in 1930, the Merchandise Mart was the largest building in the world, with 4 million square feet of floor space. Marshall Field & Co, its Art Deco style is iconic of the era in which it was constructed.
Condition: Very fine with a sharp print impression.
