Ada Rehan was an American actress and comedian who typified the "personality" style of acting.  "The School for Scandal", which she starred in, was a comedy of manners written by Richard Sheridan. Her role as Lady Teazle, was a fictional character, who was a young, flitratious, naive wife.

"This is somewhat of a tribute to Mr. Van Beer's powers of characterization and accurate draughtsmanship, and any one who has the fortune to see this brilliant actress in the flesh........."

Condition:  This print is in A condition, with some minor foxing along the outer irregular margin, which does not interfere with the print itself.
