This is a lovely lithograph presenting two views of homes in Illinois during the 18th century. The print features the homes of Leonard Scroggin and Permelia Fisher in Logan County, located in Southern Illinois.
The top scene shows a modest house with a Gazebo, as the lady of the house opens the front gate. On the front lawn are horses, cows, a wagon, & buggy. The lower scene is a closer view of a rather ornate house, with several farm buildings. A horse & buggy approaches the fenced-in property, strategically adorned with trees.
Condition: B+ with some light soiling on the edges. The print presents a crisp and clear image with ample margins on all sides for framing.
