This is a fine example of a remarkable compilation of photographs showing the horror, glory, patriotism, violence, and destruction of WWII. Over 250 images complete this photographic account of the most destructive war the world has ever seen.
The book includes five page chronological history of WWII that begins with the rise of Fasicism in the 1920s and ends with the defeat of Japan and surrender of Nazi Germany in 1945. The images are broken into categories of location, events, and campaign from the Bombing of Pearl Harbor to the Atlantic Convoy in Europe, North African Campaign, and numerous battles throughout the South Pacific.
Condition: This book is in very good condition with all pages bound firmly within the original spine. The outside covers show little wear aside from some bumped corners.
