This colorful 1935 map of the "Lone Star State" is filled with lively images, from Longhorns to Mexican migrants. Oil wells are visible, as are ranches, farms, and big cities, such as Houston, Fort Worth, Dallas, & Galveston. A comical Coronado, is seen staking his course in 1541. The Gulf of Mexico shows lots of fun-filled activities. Above the title, on the lower left, is a vignette picturing a Texas Longhorn with a lone start above his head.
