Date: 1935 Published in Boston
Dimensions: 12.5 x 9.25 inches ( 31 x 23 cm)
This is a wonderful example of life in 1935 in Kansas. Lots of cattle, including the meat packing industry in Kansas City are prominent. Families traveling West in wagons and passing by the wheat fields, Coal mines, and Oil Wells are also evident. In the lower left hand corner, coming from Texas, are the Cattle drivers moving North through the state. The "Sunflower State" is at the geographic center of the United States. The Santa Fe Trail took Wagon trains through this wide state many years ago.
