This colorful map of Indiana in 1935 shows the many rivers throughout this vertical state, as well as Chicago, Gary, & Lake Michigan. Coal and steel are some of the important industries along with mining of coal and Limestone. In the lower right is a vignette of two Log Rollers across from a racial stereotype common to this period of time. Notre Dame and the University of Indiana are prominent. The cities of Evansville, Gary, & Indianapolis are all apparent features.
