This map of the island of Oahu was reproduced in 1883 from the Hawaiian government survey from 1881. The map is rich with topographic detail and shows plats of Pearl City and Honolulu a railroad on the south shore as well as current and proposed roads throughout the island. A table is included to the left with distances between towns starting from the Honolulu post office as well as distance on the Oahu Railray from Honolulu Depot. Lines and degrees of longitude and latitude cross the map from end to end.
Condition: Map is in B+ condition with one corner tear that does not enter the image. Map was originally issued folded and has since been flattened.
