1864 Johnson's North America
DESCRIPTION
This is an authentic antique map of North America by AJ Johnson. It was published in 1864 in New York. This very colorful map provides an excellent snapshot of mid-19th century North America. British America (Canada) and Mexico are shown in great detail with color-coded provinces and the United States is also color-coded according to its various states and territories. The map shows the territories of New Mexico Dakota Nebraska and Washington before they were divided into modern-day states and also shows Alaska as a Russian territory.
CONDITION
This map is in A condition. It retains sharp color and detail while sporting a sharp horizontal fold with minor coloration around the edges. The map has some minor spotting on the image.
