This is an authentic antique map of the New England by Alvin Johnson. The map was published out of New York by Johnson & Ward in 1862.
This map spans from Long Island to New Brunswick and the St Lawrence River as it focuses on the New England region of the United States. States that are color coded by county include Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. Five engraved views along the outside of the map include Marshfield and the home of Daniel Webster, Niagara Suspension Bridge, and Observatories at Yale, Amherst, and Cambridge.
Condition: Map is in B condition, with no marginal tears, but some light browning along the centerfold and a few areas with minor soiling.
