Published in 1927, this map shows an important moment in Chicago history prior to the addition of many iconic modernist buildings. With detailed illustrations of architectural works spanning East 87th street to the intersection of Carpenter Rd and Touhy Ave. Some notable works shown include Union Station, The Lexington Hotel, The Field Museum, Tribune Tower, The Drake Hotel, St Stanislaus Church, Roosevelt Theater, The Art Institute, Orchestra Hall et al.
Condition: This map is in A condition with full margins and light toning to the edges. The entire piece has creases from its original folding.
