This scarce Bellin map/sea chart of St. Lucie was drawn as the Seven Year War was ending. Agricultural areas are denoted throughout the island, and remnants of a former fortress are designated. Offshore, safe anchorages are shown. The insets include depth soundings and shoals. The map is oriented east.
Condition: Large-scale, double-page, a strong impression on heavy, watermarked paper. This map is in A- condition. Folded as published. Modern joining of sheets with archival material on the verso.
