Turn of the century advertisement for the McCabe-Bierman Wagon Company out of St. Louis, MO. This historic piece features 21 models of horse drawn wagons for various uses, including hauling furniture, freight, and the dead to passenger wagons for 2 to 12 people that suite a variety of terrains.

Each of the horse drawn carriages or wagons includes detailed specification for the various models that include axel and wheel diameter, size, ground clearance, weight capacity, color and accessory options such as leather interior and plush carpeting. The broadside encourages would-be buyers to visit their location on North Broadway Street in St. Louis or write for prices.

McCabe-Bierman was originally founded in 1877 as "James H. McCabe and Thomas O'Farell, Carriage Builders." McCabe-Bierman would eventually partner with Edward J. Powers, Sr. in 1906 to become the McCabe-Powers Body Company. The exact date of the first name change is unknown, but the McCabe-Powers company would continue until 1983 during which time it would specialize in hearses, passenger limos, delivery vehicles, utility vehicles, and producing military vehicles during World War II.

Condition: This antique broadside advertisement is in B condition with some loss of paper at the fold intersections and edges. Many of the folds and separations have been reinforced on the verso with archival materials.
