1935 North Carolina

This dynamic state in 1935 is portrayed as an industrious place where furniture, pottery, textiles, peanuts, tobacco, berries flourished. Of course, with the East coast adjacent to the Pacific Ocean, the state thrived on tourism as well. In the left corner is a small box of a part of the East side that wouldn't "fit" on the page. So, the map-maker, Ruth Taylor White playfully decided to add it down below saying, "this is the rest of N.C. Add it to the squiggly on the West".
Condition: A condition with vibrant color, clean paper and margins.
