A colorful and informative pictorial map of England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland showcasing its Royal History. The map was first published in 1957 by the British Tourist Authority and continued to be reissued well into the 1960s.
The map is filled with historical figures, cotes-of-arms, and events from Britain's rich history. Insets provide depictions of royal crowns, Edinburgh Castle, and eight important buildings and structures within London. Surrounding the map is a border consisting of fifty-four coats-of-arms representing the many counties of Great Britain.
Condition: This map is in A condition, issued folded, now flattened and linen backed for preservation and presentation purposes.
