A detailed map and harbor chart of Havana, Cuba, oriented with south at the top and complete with depth soundings, featuring a seventeen-point legend noting significant landmarks. This plan emerged during the latter stages of the Seven Years' War, coinciding with the British deployment of five warships and 4,000 troops for an assault and capture of Havana. Subsequently, in the Treaty of Paris the ensuing year, Britain would exchange control of Cuba for possession of Florida.
Condition: Map is in A condition, with lovely hand coloring and ample margins on all sides. A small tear exists but it contained to the top margin and has been reinforced on the verso.
