1878 Vienna
DESCRIPTION
An original chromolithograph view of Vienna, Austria as it would have appeared in the late 19th century. The view shows the sprawling city with its many large, three to five-story limestone buildings that line the streets for miles.
This view was one of sixteen depictions of international cities that appeared in William Collins's "The Complete Atlas, Consisting of One Hundred and Twenty Maps of Modern, Historical, Classical, and Physical Geography," published out of Glasgow in 1878.
