The work focuses on the estuary and port of the river on the coast of the Caribbean Sea, and includes the village of Chagre(s), the castle of San Lorenzo, and Fort della Punta. Topography includes place names, vegetation, drainage, lagoons, islands, coastlines and water depths as well as coordinate points, a bar scale and a compass rose.
