This is an authentic, antique map of the Lesser Antilles Islands which was created by Henri Chatelain and published in Paris in 1719.
This map shows a stretch of the Antilles islands that runs from Guadeloupe to Granada and indicates the many forts, towns, and villages that dot the islands. It also incorrectly depicts the island of Granada, which is shown upside down.
Condition: This map is in very fine condition with a very small rust spot and some ink smudging. It presents well with a strong print impression on bright paper with ample margins on all sides for framing.
