This is an authentic hand-colored antique map by the prominent cartographer John Cary covering an area from Westphalia and Lower Saxony in the north to France and Swabia in the south.
Cities, towns, and small villages, palaces, forts and roads are denoted as are natural features such as forests, lakes and rivers. Overland shipping routes and roads are delineated. This is one of the finest maps of the area of its time.
Condition: This map is in A condition, with delicate original hand coloring and wide borders all around.
