DESCRIPTION
This sea chart covers an area of the waters on the southwest coast of Haiti, including depth soundings, anchorage points and shoals. The region inland features terrain in hachure along with river systems. Bellin was the first Ingenieur Hydrographe de la Marine, and also Official Hydrographer to the French King.
