DESCRIPTION
An original chromolithograph view of Melbourne, Australia as it was in the late 19th century. The view is oriented north with the Yarra River appearing across the bottom of the print. This view was one of sixteen depictions of international cities that appeared in William Collins's "Complete Atlas... of Modern, Historical, Classical, and Physical Geography," published out of Glasgow in 1878.
CONDITION
Print is in B+ condition with some soiling and foxing confined to wide margins.
