This authentic, antique lithograph by Samuel Augustus Mitchell Jr. of Asia from present day India to the coast of China and as far south as present day Indonesia. The map was published in Philadelphia as part of Mitchell's New General Atlas of 1962. It shows the various countries of which many of the political borders have since changed drastically. The map is color coded by regions with major river systems, mountains, and important towns and cities noted throughout. The map is surrounded by an elaborate floral boarder that distinguished Mitchell’s works from other map makers of his era.
