This is an authentic, antique map of Scandinavia, the Baltics, and northwestern Russia. The map was published by Henri Abraham Chatelain, out of Amsterdam circa 1719.
This map exhibits excellent geographical detail with regard to the delineation of rivers, tributaries, and fjords, and the locations of mountain ranges, lakes, islands, towns and principal cities. Flanking the map are 32 provincial coats of arms. In the top left, an extensive table gives numerous place locations with coordinates given in upper and lower case letters that border the map.
Condition: This map is in A condition with lovely hand coloring.
