This is an authentic antique map of India and and part of Southeast Asia by Christopher Weigel. The map was published in Nuremberg for the atlas Descriptio Orbis Antiqui in XLIV in the year 1720. The map includes numerous ancient Indian cities mountain ranges and rivers. The Ganges River is what separates Intra and Extra Gangem. In the top right corner is a powerful vignette of a war elephant in the heat of battle.
Condition: Map is in A condition with some light soiling along the margins.
