This is an authentic antique map of Ancient Palestine by Christopher Weigel. It was published in Nuremberg for the atlas "Descriptio Orbis Antiqui in XLIV" in the year 1720. The map displays the ancient regions of Galilee Samaria and Judea and it features many important Biblical sites. Geographical features include the Sea of Galilee the River Jordan and the Dead Sea. There are also many important Biblical cities including Sidon Tyre Bethlehem Jerusalem and Nazareth. There is also a decorative vignette in the upper left hand corner. The vignette shows a man lounging among palm trees and four images bearing the likeness of ancient medallions.

Condition: This map is in B+ condition. It retains original color and detail has minor spotting around the margins and a sharp horizontal fold.
