DESCRIPTION
This is an authentic historic print, published in 1930, of the Chicago Stock Yards. Around 1852, Railroads were constructed to Chicago, and by 1921, the Stock Yards employed 40,000 people. The city permanently reversed the flow of the Chicago River, with the intent to prevent Stock Yards' waste from flowing into Lake Michigan & contaminating the city's drinking water.
There are further illustrations on the verso, but no show or "bleed". On good quality paper.
