Dr. Rudolph Geiger (1894 - 1981) was a German meteorologist and climatologist, who worked with Wladimir Peter Köppen and introduced some modifications to the Köppen climate classification, which is one of the most widely used climate classification systems back then and still to this day. It is now often referred to as the Köppen–Geiger climate classification system.

Condition: Maps vary slightly in condition with some having more stress marks, and minor tears than others. Overall we would describe these maps as in fine to very fine condition. Colors are vibrant, the cloth backing is stable, and all but one of the maps are secured to their original rollers.

NOTE: Map #2 is missing its rollers, but replacements can be attained at the request of the buyer for no additional charge. Image shown depicts this map as it would appear with rollers.
