DESCRIPTION
A large single cover page of the Saturday, March 30 edition of the 1861 London Illustrated News. Across the top, there s the decorative title of the newspaper, featuring the headlining article regarding Constitutionalism in France, and it’s progress. Below is a large image of a wood engraved print of a pair of children walking home from the bakery. The image is captioned as “Hot-cross buns!”, an allusion to the text on the bakery bag the young boy is carrying.

This print is in A condition, with no folds or tears. Mild toning around edges.
