DESCRIPTION

This "animated" advertisement is a good example of how products used medical science to promote their products.  In this particular ad, you see a man sneezing into a tissue, while in the upper left hand corner is a bottle of Listerine with boxing gloves, fighting the cold.  In the lower right corner is a lady gargling with the product to fight the germs, called "Secondary Invaders".  8 microscopic drawings of various germs are described below.

Good condition, with minor staining in left margin and small tear in right margin.
