This is an original vintage poster for the 1980 music / comedy Blues Brothers, directed by John Landis and starring John Belushi, Dan Ackroyd, Carrie Fisher, and Henri Gibson. The movie is most well-known for featuring the largest concentration of musical legends in a single film, which included James Brown, Cab Calloway, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Chaka Khan, and John Lee Hooker.
The poster features "Joliet" Jake (Belushi) and Ellwood (Aykroyd) Blues posing in their icon black suit, hat, and sunglasses (that they wear in the dark), with blank facial expressions, in front of their retired cop car and draw bridges often found throughout the south side of Chicago.
Condition: This original poster is in A condition, professionally linen backed for preservation and presentation purposes. Any short edge tears have been closed and reinforced and any distress to the paper from original folds have been touched up to offer a exceptional eye-appeal.
