About Olympic National Park
This vast park is located on the Washington Olympic Peninsula in the Pacific Northwest. Over 1,442 square miles in size, it sprawls across several different ecosystems, from the Olympic Mountains to old-growth forests and Rain forests. Established in 1938 by Franklin D. Roosevelt, the park is home to 8 indigenous Tribes. In 1981, this Park was added to the World Heritage Site. There’s plenty of activities for the 2.5 million visitors per year. Some of the outdoor opportunities include: skiing, hiking, fishing, camping, trails, kayaking, Snowboarding, Mountain climbing, and visiting a Hot Spring.
