This is an original antique map of Philadelphia, published by Joseph H. Colton out of New York in 1856. The map is color coded by ward and includes street names, piers, railroads, government buildings, parks, cemeteries, and universities. A scale of distance appears at bottom center within Colton's signature scrollwork border.
CONDITION
Map is in A condition with bold original color on clean paper with ample margins on all sides. Some light paper toning is apparent along the edge of the page.
