This fascinating pictorial map of Vermont was published in the Atlas, "Our USA - a Gay Geography", with Ruth creating the maps, while her husband Frank added the text.

The map provides local color and flavor depicting cultural stereotypes, agriculture, industries, and activities of the territory. Vermont is the most rugged state of the New England group. This particular map shows the Green Mountains, Lake Champlain,  and other natural features.  Montpelier is known for its fine woodwork, while Burlington, the largest city, specializes in woolen goods.  Close to 50 characters participating in various activities provide enjoyment, as well as information as to what this northeastern state has to offer.

Note: Image of map description is not on the verso of this map.

Condition:  It's in A condition, with even margins on clean paper.
