A full page, black and white advertisement for Teacher's Highland Cream, blended scotch whisky. Across the top of the print, a phonetically spelled toast being said between two Scottish officers. An image of a thistle appears in the upper left hand corner, and an image of the Teacher’s Whisky bottle in the opposite lower right. Directly above the heavy black brand label, in small font appears a reminder to enjoy Teacher’s with soda, an inexpensive and extremely popular WWII era mixer. While distilled and bottled in Glasgow, Scotland, the large retail drugstore knows as Schieffelin & Co. distributed the beverage across the United States.
